Stephens International Public School celebrates Gurpurab

JAMMU, Jan 3: Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib, celebrated Gurpurab with great enthusiasm and fervour.
The festive event commemorated with the kirtan and the students recited the moolmantar with the Shabad Gayan epitomizing their faith in the glory of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The students sang religious hymns from the holy Guru Granth Sahib. The students and the concerned teachers took out Prabhat Feri which captivated the spectators and created the religious vibes.
The special features of the programme were poems and speeches related to the life history and contribution of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Besides this, the students also recited shabads which added grace and charm to the Gurpurab celebration. The spectators were spellbound. The students also told about the sacrifice of the lives of four sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the contribution given by him for the welfare of Sikkhism.
Manoj Kumar Agnihotri, the school Principal, addressed the students and spread the message of harmony and oneness and advised the students to do "Simran" daily to improve concentration. He also asked the students to follow the teachings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The Director, Satvinder Saini congratulated everyone on this auspicious occasion and applauded the participants.
