PDD casual labourers protest enters day 30

JAMMU, Jan 3: Need based casual labourers of Power Development Department (PDD) under the banner of J&K Need Base/Casual Labourers Union held a protest near Chief Engineer EM&RE Wing Jammu, here on 30th th consecutive day.
The speakers during the protest alleged that the administration is harassing the need based employees.
Hundreds of casual labourers who had come from across the Jammu Division raised slogans in the favour of their genuine demands to release their pending wages and their monthly wages from wage head.
President All J&K Need Based Worker Union, Akhil Sharma stressed upon the authorities to release pending wages as it has become very difficult to maintain daily requirements of our houses.
He said that we request officials of the government to look into this matter and solve our long pending problem. Bilal, Bashir, Ab Gani, Saleem, Sajid, Daljeet, Gurmail, Ashish Verma, Akhtar Choudhary and Kabir also spoke on the occasion.
