Jammu, Jan 18: Dr Narinder Paul, Scientist/Subject Matter Specialist (Extension), Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Doda, Directorate of Extension, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) has been honoured with congress of zoology medal by the Zoological Society of India (ZSI) for outstanding contribution in extension research and promoting extension services during 31st All India Congress of Zoology and National Seminar on Climate Smart Aquaculture and Fisheries held at College of Fisheries Campus of Central Agriculture University Imphal at, Lembucherra, Agartala, Tripura from January 15-16, 2019. The honour includes a gold medal, certificate and citation and has been conferred on the basis of research and extension achievements, publications in reputed journals, extension approaches formulated and carried out in promoting agriculture innovations among farming community especially in the field of cold water fisheries and aquaculture, entrepreneurship promotion among rural youth and academic achievements. Son of Janak Raj and Sunita Rani, Dr Narinder hails from Hiranagar town of District Kathua. |
