PDP leadership forcing senior Jammu based leaders to quit party
1/18/2019 11:10:34 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 18: Leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has no faith on those party leaders of Jammu who were associated with late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed from the day one of the formation of the party. Instead of reposing faith on veteran and dedicated leaders of the party, PDP leadership is trying to project new comers to further humiliate these founding members of the party who remained loyalists of late Mufti Mohammed Sayeed till his death.
Today Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) have convened meeting of all political parties to discuss some issues relating to the forthcoming Parliamentary and Assembly elections in J&K. Instead of asking Jammu based senior leaders, associated with the party since its formation, PDP leadership has deputed Faqir Chand Bhagat, a new entrant in the party along with Nazim-ud-Din Bhat, a leader from Kashmir to represent the party.
Jammu based senior leaders were hoping that they would be deputed by the party to attend all party meeting but they were shocked after getting information that high-command has Faqir Chand Bhagat to represent party in the crucial meeting.
Credible sources said that decision to depute Bhagat was deliberately taken to humiliate senior leaders and to force them to leave the party. "A Kashmir based senior leader, who is infamous for pursuing communal politics in PDP, is working round the clock to force Jammu based senior leaders to quit that party so that he can take control of the party in Jammu also through his stooges", sources said and added that Faqir Chand Bhagat is one of the loyalist of that 'communal' leader who is known for hatching conspiracy to put Jammu on fires.
Interestingly Faqir Chand Bhagat's son had contested recently held Civic Bodies elections in Jammu despite the fact that PDP had given a boycott call.
