Jammu, Jan 22: A meeting was organized by Inner Wheel Club, Jammu under the presidentship of Lalita Gupta at Hotel Asia wherein Rajini Negi, District Chairman Inner Wheel Club, Northern India attended IWC annual event. On this occasion, Rajini Negi was the Chief Guest and Retd. Bragadier and Harcharan Singh, Director Zila Sainik Board, Jammu, Dr. Ashwani Jojra,Founder Sehyog India and Rampaul Dogra, Sr. Journalist & social activist were guest of honours. While receiving the Chief Guest IWC team welcomed her by putting floral garlands followed by activity of collaring to club president by secretary, collaring to district chairman by WC Jammu president. After meeting called to order by president, a prayer by all guests was sung together. Traditional lamp was also light amid clippings. Lalita Gupta ,IWC Jammu gave welcome speech among members and highlighted the activities of club. Reva Raina ,Club Secretary presented club activities regarding project accomplished and projects in hand. During the event new membership were also given to few members who wished to work closely with cub. Two non pensioner widows were adopted by club for help. S. Harcharan Singh, Director ZSBJ, also spoke on the Saheed Parivaar who lost brave souls and showed solidarity with them. |
