Mother India Sr. Sec. School organizes Farewell

Jammu, Jan 27: The Students of Class 11th of Mother India Sr. Sec. School, R.S. Pura, organised a "Farewell Function" to bid farewell to the students of Class 12th.
The Principal of the School Mrs. Sonia Tohra inaugurated the function by lighting the traditional lamp. Various cultural Items were presented on the occasion by the students of class 11th which included Sarswati Vandana, Punjabi Bhangra, Singing and Comedy Skit etc. The function was well organised by the Event Management Committee of class 11th which was comprised of about 30 students of class 11th. Students of class 12th- Sourav Choudhary, Raman Kumar, Harsh Choudhary and Nitish Bhagat also performed on the stage. Rabjot Singh, Vansh Gupta, Nilhil Singh and Vrinda Thakur on behalf of Students of Class 12th, also shared their experiences in the school and were feeling emotional while leaving the school. A three round competition was also organised to choose Mr. and Miss Mother India in which Master Amit Chib of Science Stream of Class 12th was chosen Mr. Mother India and Baby Komal Sharma of Science Stream of Class 12th was chosen Miss Mother India.
Mrs Sonia Tohra, Principal of the School presented vote of thanks in the end. She appreciated the students of class 11th for organising such a successful function. She also thanked the parents for their continuous trust in the school. While Speaking on the occasion she appreciated the role of Teachers and said that it is only teacher who works hard and also motivate the students to work hard to produce good results. In the end she wished best of luck to students of class 12th for their board exams. Gifts were also presented in the end to the outgoing students of class 12th. The Staff Members who were present on the occasion were: Mr. Naresh Kumar, Mr. Narinder Singh Chib, Mr. Ravinder Sharma, Mr. Ankush Gupta, Mr. Arjun Kapoor, Miss Anju, Miss Amita Choudhary, Miss Parampreet Kour, Miss Sheetal Chib, Miss Pooja Gupta, Miss Dharti Pikhan, Miss Renu Devi, Mrs. Sudesh Kumari, Mr. Parmod Kumar, Mr. Narinder Kumar, Sh. Sohan Lal, Smt. Shashi Devi, Neeraj Bahadur, Sukhdev Singh and others.
