JAMMU, Feb 3: Neeraj Gupta Zonal President JKNPP held a protest on the issue of the delay caused in the inauguration of Jammu Gandola Project/use of sub-standard material in its .
The protest was held at in front of J&K State Cable Car Corp Bahu Ropeway Station. The protest was held by Neeraj Gupta along with his supporters and party workers.
Neeraj Gupta while interacting with the media person said that the previous Govt. of BJP-PDP had cheated the people and compromise with the welfare and development of the Jammu People. The projects like Cable Car, Artificial Tawi water-lake, development of Bahu Fort Temple and Mahamaya Temple all are kept in cold storage of the Govt. Although some development works has been done, but to make Jammu a smart City a lot of work has to be done.
He added that it is very unfortunate that even after date of extension of inauguration of Gandola project the Gandola project is not going to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister during his visit dated 03/02/2019 also. The much awaited project still needed more time because of the mis-happening during trial of the Gandola project.
"We being ordinary men not able to understand that what was the reason behind this mis-happening? Is there any conspiracy behind this or sub-standard material was used, " he said, adding that such a big and dream project which the Jammu people was waiting need to be completed immediately. He said that we only demand a CBI probe into the matter and inauguration of the Gandola Project as early as poss. |
