Save future of our children, demand parents

Poonch, Feb 13: The locals of Mendhar Sub division seem have urged the Education department to safeguard the future of their children.
They alleged that most of the schools remain usually closed as the teachers have settled in Jammu and pay a visit to the place of their posting when they get a little time from their engagements. Doing a job for them was not so important feel the parents whose wards are reading in these schools. The parents are embarrassed and express their concern about the future of their children.
While talking to Early Times some parents that request the government to save the future of their children whose education was suffering at the hands of teachers.
We live in far off area in Kalaban village and send our wards school after facing a lots of difficulties at various fronts but the absenteeism culture prevailing in the schools in Mendhar sub division and other education zones of district that too under the nose of Dy CEO and CEO spoils the future of our children, they alleged.
Social activist Nisar Chichi has urged the district authorities and Director School Education Jammu to take a serious note of the absenteeism culture prevailing here and take healthy steps to end this menace in the district. He expressed concern over the future of children reading in these schools.
