| Sarang 2019 celebrated at Scientia International School | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 1: Scientia International School, celebrated Sarang 2019 with unprecedented fanfare today at the school premises. Chandar Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation were the chief guest of the occassio. Tarseim Lal Gorka, Zone Education Officer and Kuldeep Singh Chib, Municipal Corporator were the guest of honour. Other dignitaries included Parshotam Bhardwaj, Chairman, K.R. Magotra Vice- Chairman and Swati Basotra Member Managing Committee Scientia International School.
The toddlers of Nursery commenced the event with the Ganesh Vandhana. The theme for the annual day was 'Colors' which was presented meticulously by students from Grade Nursery to Grade 2. The talented students presented mesmerizing cultural events such as dances, plays, skits, and other events. It was a journey into the heart touching scenes interwoven into a dramatically overwhelming play composed by the students celebrating 150 years of Father of the Nation on the theme "Swachhta Hi Seva". The play had musical elements to bring symphony and melody into life. Interaction Session on 'Parenting and Child Care' was conducted by Swati Basotra, who encouraged parents to have guilt free parenting and to build their self esteem with confidence. Chandar Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation applauded and praised the school for raising the educational standard in the city. He was astonished to observe young children narrating scripts with perfect articulation. Tarseim Lal Gorka, Zonal Education Officer encouraged towards the State Board Education System as a Best System through which a child can develop and be all rounder. |
