Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 1: Even as the court clears his stay on his transfer, the Patnitop Development Authority (PDA) CEO, Rajinder Singh seems reluctant to leave his chair.
Sources said that the CEO has already attained notoriety for allowing illegal hotels in the eco-fragile area.
Singh was transferred on 24-09-2018 as there were several corruption complaints against him. Complaints are pending against him with Secretary to Govt Tourism Department , Vigilance Commissioner and Governor office for illegally handling over the budget accommodation building constructed under central scheme at Sansar to one Yudvir Singh for running a hotel.
Singh, however, did not join the new place of posting and sought judicial intervention pleading premature transfer.
The Court ultimately cleared his stay about fifteen days but the CEO is still continuing there.
It is pertinent to mention here that the green buffer zone of Patnitop is a renowned hill station thronged by the tourists.
Sources said the CEO gets corers by allowing illegal constructions in the area
