Adbi Kunj holds literary tributes meet

Jammu, Mar 29: Adbi Kunj organized a literary tributes meet, here today. The meet was presided over by a renowned poet S. Malik Singh Wafa, whereas another popular Gojari poet Mohammad Sarwar Chohan Habeeb was the special guest of the meet. Singer Ved Uppal conducted the proceeding of the meet. After his welcome address, Sham Talib President of the organization paid floral tributes to S. Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev who sacrificed their lives for attaining independence. Adbi Kunj also paid homage to veteran journalist and writer S. Khushwant Singh on his 5th death anniversary. In the creative prose session, short stories were presented by K.L.Salgotra, Jaitinder Bhassan, Sarwar Chohan, M.S.Wafa, Aarash Dalmotra and Sham Talib. In the meet, Adbi Kunj also condoled sad demise of the mother of Sarwar Chohan. Later, a composite poetic round up was also held in which several poets recited their creations in different languages. The poets who participated in the meet include Aarash Dalmotra, M.S.Wafa, Sarwar Chohan Habeeb, K.R. Salgotra, Jaitender Bhassan, Suparsh Sharma, Sanjeev kumar, Raj Kanwal, Bishan Khak, Rajeev Kumar, Ved Uppal, M.K. Wafadar, Babli Sharma, Santosh Nadan, Bashir-Ul-Haq and Sham Talib. The meet was come to end with the vote of thanks by Aarash Dalmotra Chairman Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu.
