JAMMU, Mar 29: Due to the blessings of top officer of Jammu & Kashmir Tourist Development Corporation (JKTDC), an influential in-charge Manager of JKTDC managed to get his transfer order modified and again assumed the charge as in-charge Manager in choicest place in one of the tourist place in Jammu province.
According to the reliable sources, an influential in-charge manager who was posted in Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation at famous tourist destination in Jammu Province and stayed at same place for several years located near his place.
Sources further said that the distance between the house and the office of the officer is just 500 meters.
"In October 2018, the department transferred him to Batote, but with the blessing of a senior officer of the JKTDC, the officer in question managed his transfer back to his choicest post where he had served for couple of years," said sources.
Sources further claimed that there are dozens of rooms and two huts under the jurisdiction of officer in question who after misusing his position and provide rooms on rent rents to young unmarried couples especially to college students in lieu of heft amount.
"Not only this, this influential manager never hesitated to provide rooms to couples in school uniform in lieu of money which was the prime reason for his transfer," said sources.
In daily routine approximately 20 to 30 couples reached at tourist spot and with maximum in school uniform and the officer used to book rooms for them telephonically and shows booking of only two to three rooms per day. |
