JAMMU, Mar 29: Domana police today claimed o have foiled a bid to black marketing of government cement and arrested the accused while seized 60 bags of cement along with the truck which was being used to carry the cement bags. Police spokesman said that today during patrolling duty, police party of police post Pouni Chak intercepted one truck bearing registration number JKO2U-2969 at Ranjitpur Gulami Chak. "During search of the truck it was found loaded with 60 bags of govt supply cement regarding which driver namely Sham Lal of Ranjitpur failed to produce any relevant documents," said sources. On this, a case under FIR no 121/2019 under section 3/7 Essential Commodities Act 409 of RPC registered at Domana police station and investigation initiated.
Police said that they have arrested the accused and seized the cement along with vehicle.
