JSS Jammu organizes workshop for teachers

Jammu, Apr 6: The illiterate of the 21st Century will not be those who cannot read and write but are those who do not want to learn, un-learn and re-learn. Today, Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu organised a workshop for teachers on "Innovative Teaching Strategies Ideas for Success" Gurmeet Kaur, a resource person from CORDOVA publication took the workshop. It was a refreshing course for teaching strategies for teachers in the classroom management. The motive of the workshop was to get familiar with the needs and challenges faced by the teachers in the classroom.
The resource person made it clear to the teachers by giving certain tips and guidelines for classroom management and the most important part of the workshop was to cater to the needs of 21st century learners. To make the workshop, more interesting certain questions were asked in between to the teachers and the winners were awarded with the prizes. The workshop also focused on the educational goals which play a very important role in the overall development of the child.
The role of the teacher in the 21st century is to create a difference in the class during teaching. Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school, Rohini Aima thanked the resource person for sparing her precious and valuable time for a refreshment course for the teachers and also felicitates her with a token of love from the school.
