DODA, Apr 6: A patient had to be carried all the way to the hospital on shoulders due to road blockade in Bhalesa in Doda district.
Aviral video shows attendants along with locals ferrying a woman patient on their shoulders for atleast 12 kilometres to reach the hospiral. The link road from Bagli to Amraie Champal was blocked by snow and continyes to stay blocked after five months. These incidents show the negligence and indifference of the administration.
Chenab Valley has produced a number of leaders but it seems the people are living in ancient times, the locals said. International Human Rights Organisation team of Chenab Valley and residents of these area appealed to Governor's Administration to look into the matter and restore the life line of the area Immediately.
