J&K Bank opens Fresh Cash Counter at Vaishno Devi Bhawan on Navratras

Jammu, Apr 6: On the auspicious occasion of Navratras, marking the onset of nine day long festivities, J & K Bank today launched a Fresh Cash counter at its Business Unit Vaishno Devi Bhawan. The Fresh currency counter was inaugurated by Simrandeep Singh (IAS) Chief Executive Officer of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board in presence of SDM Bhawan Naresh Kumar (KAS), Anand Pal Singh Zonal Head Udhampur and other senior officials of J&K Bank and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
The function was also attended by local public, Police, CRPF, Local Shopkeepers and large number of devotees from different corners of the country.
The counter will offer the service of Fresh Cash Currency/Note exchange to the pilgrims visiting Holy cave of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine during navratras. The facility of fresh currency notes has been started to facilitate the devotees coming here from length and breadth of the country and abroad. J & K Bank Zonal Head Udhampur Anand Pal Singh welcomed the dignitaries on the occasion and presented mementos to the Chief Guest and other distinguished Guests. Addressing the gathering Anand Pal Singh remarked, "J&K Bank thrives to serve all the sections of the society in the state by offering best customized products across all the regions using a multi pronged approach that includes economic growth, quality of education & health.
While speaking on the occasion Simrandeep Singh (IAS) C.E.O of SMVDSB lauded the efforts of the J&K Bank Vaishno Devi Bhawan in conducting such programmes for the pilgrims and also for providing state of the art banking services to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and its employees. Sanjay Gupta Branch Head conveyed his thanks to the CEO, SDM, Tehsildar and other dignitaries of the SMVDSB on behalf of the authorities of the bank for gracing the occasion by their esteemed presence, in a small yet impressive function arranged by staff of J&K Bank Business Unit Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
