Annual function organized at Bhagawaan Gopinath ji Ashram

JAMMU, Apr 6: An annual function was held at the Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram, Udaiwala, Bohri, Jammu on the 06th of April, 2019 to mark the first Navratra "Navreh celebrations".
The function started with the Guru Vandana. As usual, Guru-Geeta recitation competition was held on the occasion. This competition is held with a view to promoting Bhagawaan consciousness in the youth. The competitors were categorized as Sub-Junior Group (upto the 5th Standard), Junior Group (beyond the 5th Standard and upto the 8th Standard) and senior group (beyond 8th standard standard and upto 12th standard).
M.K. Santoshi, Krishen Pandita and Santosh Shan Nadan acted as the judges on this occasion. The participants who bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize in the Sub-junior group were Keshav Balalia, Archana and Kamakshi Raina respectively. In Junior Group : Mahi Sharma and Manshi Bhardwaj got 1st and 2nd prize respectively. In Senior group : Narmata Bhat, Hershulla Ganjoo and Samriti Dhar got 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. Certificates and trophies were given to the position holders in each group. All other participants were given certificates.
The function was presided over by Prof. P.N. Trisal. In his address, he was all praise for the organizers for holding such type of seminars which he said would have moral and educative influence on the youth. The programme was conducted by the organizer of the Trust.
A nine-day long spiritual activity in connection with the Navratras also started at the Jammu Ashram.
The activity actually started with Hawan at 08:00 p.m. on the 05th of April, 2019. This activity will continue to be held at the Ashram from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. daily during these auspicious days and the Puran Ahuti will take place on the 14th of April, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. followed by prasad distribution at 01:30 p.m.
The President, Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust, had all praise for the competitors. She appreciated their effort and encouraged them to imbibe spiritual values that will guide them to tread on the right path.
A vote of thanks was presented by the Vice-President of the Trust on this occasion. He threw light on the specific instances of the ways the institution is carrying forward the mission of Bhagawaan Gopinathji.
