JU signs MoU with college of Malaysia

jammu, Apr 6: University of Jammu and Lincoln University College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during the recent visit of Prof Manoj Kumar Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu to Lincoln University College, Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.
On behalf of Lincoln University College the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Prof. Dr. Amiya Bhaumik, Vice Chancellor & CEO of Lincoln University College.
Dr. Arindam, International Advisor from Lincoln University College visited University of Jammu in this regard to assess the facilities as well as possible areas of collaboration.
Finally the efforts of two universities culminated in an official agreement towards building opportunities for students, researchers and faculty at both campuses. According to Prof Dhar, international cooperation will play an important role in building a globally competent academic and research system in the University. He said that the broad framework of the two partnerships includes, conduct of joint collaborative research to develop, test, evaluate and commercialize various research project outcomes, access of Online library resources for students, collaborative applications for different research grant opportunities both in India and Malaysia beside others.
The MoU signing ceremony was also attended by Prof. Parikshat Singh Manhas, Director, School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and Professor The Business School. On behalf of Lincoln University College the dignitaries who attended the ceremony were Prof. Datuk Dr. Abdul Gani Bin Mohammed Din, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Haji Mansor Ferner, Director- Academic, Dr Abhijit Ghosh, Dean- Faculty of Business and Accountancy, Dr Sandeep Poddar, Senior Research Director, Lincoln University College, Malaysia. The MOU ceremony event was hosted by Lincoln University College and was well attended by students, staff and faculty members of Lincoln University College.
