Kishtwar, Apr 6: In a tragic accident on Kishtwar-Padder road, a tipper driver identified as Javid Iqbal son of Mohammad Iqbal Resident of Hunjalla Kishtwar died after his tipper roll down and have a steep fall of around 300 feet.
As per the details available with Early Times, a Tipper bearing register Now. JK14-8987 on its way from Padder towards Kishtwar met with Accident and rolled down approximately 300 feet near Kuwar village in Dool area some 18 KM from Kishtwar.
As soon as the accident took place, the locals, army from nearby 17 RR HQ along with police from nearby Dool Post immediately rush to the spot and started rescue operation and shifted the injuried driver to District Hospital Kishtwar where he later on scummbed to his injuries as the hospital authorities fail to provide him the required treatment due to non availability of the doctors and better medical facilities.
The angry people snubbed the hospital authorities for their continuous failure in mitigating the problems of the commoners visiting the hospital and termed Kishtwar hospital as "refferal hospital" from where every patient is being reffered to Jammu or other hospitals as no facility is available to the people in the hospital which has become a burden on state exchequer as the doctor's posted in the hospital since several years are only enjoying salaries at the cost of no work in emergency.
