BJP fails to fulfil a single promise of 2014: Vikramaditya
4/11/2019 11:10:40 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 11: Senior Congress leader and party candidate from Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Constituency Vikramaditya Singh accused BJP of striving on the politics of dishonesty claiming that party leadership has not fulfilled a single promise among those made during campaign trail to 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Interacting with media persons after casting his vote at a polling booth in Ambphalla area of Jammu City, Vikramaditya asserted that general elections are a democratic fiesta and an opportunity for the people especially youth to choose leaders with thorough integrity and not those (BJP) who are habitual of befooling public by their deceitful slogans and later brazenly accepting that what was promised was nothing more than a Jumla.
He hoped that people this time will elect prospective leaders who have concepts, ideas and integrity to ensure a dignified life with all the basic amenities being made available at their doorsteps. He cautioned people to remain aware of the new tactics being adopted by BJP leadership to befool electorate in the name of 'Watchman' campaign or Pulwama's gruesome incident.
This time in the Kathua Constituency the fight is between Congress party and the BJP, he told reporters asserting that BJP candidate Jitendra Singh's failed tenure with 'colossal' development only on papers and not on ground will surely dent party's prospects as this time people have understood the deceitful campaign strategy of BJP and are not ready to again fall prey to rhetoric of BJP leadership.
Congress will decimate BJP in the Udhampur-Kathua constituency, he said asserting that people especially youth have made up their mind to give a befitting reply to BJP for doing nothing about joblessness, poverty, poor healthcare facilities, insufficient resources, defunct education sector and sky-rocketing inflation.
Vikramaditya reiterated that the present situation called for reposing faith in a leadership that could steer Udhampur-Kathua Constituency out of crisis and represent the sentiments of the Dogras in proper perspective. He promised to steer the constituency to a new era of development by providing platform to people to raise their plights so that the same can be addressed on real time basis.
