JAMMU, Apr 26: Neeraj Gupta member of mohalla committee along with the members of mohalla committee, local residents and prominent citizens of the Sector 4 Ext Marble Enclave Trikuta Nagar Jammu held a protest demonstration against the JMC and Corporator of the Ward No.52,53 and 54. The issue behind this protest was the poor sanitation and worst condition of roads and sewerage.
As per local residents due to the worst condition of road, sewerage they are facing many problems. When children go to school in the morning the roads are covered with the contaminated water of sewerage. The damage road also invites the mis-happenings. The heaps of garbage here and there make they demanded the daily visit of sweepers so that the garbage can't be litter here and there.
The people demanded that JMC should take immediate measures to put a check on the grievances of the local people. The people informed the media that in the coming season of rain these pits of the damage road will be filled with rain water and will be a breeding point for mosquitoes which will cause the diseases like dengue, malaria etc. so these roads should be immediately repaired.
