‘Mehbooba should change her language, Kashmir not her ancestral property’
4/27/2019 6:24:50 PM

Srinagar: “Kashmir is not a property of anybody’s father or mother, but an integral part of India,” Said BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav during an election rally in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Reacting to statement of Mehbooba Mufti who had said that Modi should free Kashmir if he feels the state was at loss due to its special status, Madhav said that Kashmiri politicians should stop giving such sermons.

“They still feel Kashmir is the property of their forefathers. Kashmiri politicians should know it is not their property.” Madhav said.

Adding that Kashmir is the pride of millions of Indians and integral part of India.

On the special status of Jammu and Kashmir the BJP leader said that the party’s stand is clear and that any decision regarding it will be taken by the parliament, ” We are concentrating on development this election,” he said.

On highway ban he said that it is a temporary measure and that sooner there will be assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and people will be allowed to elect government.

He also said that the party was confident of winning more than 3 parliamentary seats in Jammu & Kashmir in Lok Sabha elections, ” BJP has become the main stream party of the Kashmir Valley, today. We will work for peace and development in the region.” Madhav said.
