4 absconders arrested

SAMBA, Apr 29: Continuing its drive against absconders/criminals, today special teams of District Police Samba had arrested four absconders wanted in different cases registered in Police Stations of District Samba.
Police spokesman said that a police team of Bari Brahmana police in coordination with District Special Branch (DSB) Samba headed by Inspector Darshan Singh-SHO Bari Brahmana under the supervision of Sunil Kesar-SDPO Bari Brahmana arrested an absconder wanted in a heinous case registered at Bari Brahmana under case FIR No. 127/2010 under sections 302/120-B RPC. The accused namely Ramesh Kumar of Rehari Chunghi, Jammu who was on the run for the last 9 years after commission of crime has been arrested from Jammu and produced in the Court of Law from where he was sent to District Jail Amphalla, Jammu after execution of arrest warrant issued against him.
Similarly, a special team headed by SI Rajveer Singh-incharge police post Mansar under the supervision of Inspector Shiv Dev Singh-SHO Samba conducted raid at different suspicious locations and finally succeeded in arresting three absconders namely Narinder Kumar of Mansar Majalta, Udhampur, Rajesh Kumar of Bardhan Majalta, Udhampur and Baldev Singh of Bari Bajalta Majalta, Udhampur from Mansar area.
All the 3 absconders were wanted in a case under FIR No. 111/2016 under sections 341/147 of RPC registered at Vijaypur police station. Today they were also produced in the court of law and arrest warrant 512 CrPC issued against them got executed.
