Jammu, Apr 30: A One Week Workshop on 'Print Media Production' concluded at Institute of Mass Communication (IMC) in Gandhi Memorial College of Education. The workshop focused on Layout Designing of Newspapers, Magazines, etc. using Quark Express and Adobe Photoshop software packages. The workshop was organised by the institute from April 24, 2019 to April 30, 2019 aiming to enable the students of the journalism to work on essential software packages used in the process of layout designing. Experienced Resource persons from an English daily were invited to conduct the workshop. Around 25 students participated in it. At the end of the workshop, certificates of participation were also distributed among the participants by the Principal of the college, Prof. S.K. Bhat. The other persons present in the event included Prof. Sunil Tickoo, Director of Campus, Amit Gupta, Assistant Professor IMC and co-ordinator of the workshop, Ramiyan Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor IMC and Meenakshi Mandla, Assistant Professor IMC. |
