| J&K ICAI Organizes Seminar on GST Annual Return & GST Audit | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 6: The J&K Branch of the NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organized a seminar on GST Annual Returns & GST Audit.
CA Tarun Arora & CA. Navya Malhotra were the Guest Speakers on topics of GST annual return & GST Audit report to be furnished in form GSTR 9 GSTR 9C respectively.
The First Technical Session was deliberated by CA. Tarun Arora who gave a detailed pointwise presentation on GST annual return which needs to be furnished in Form GSTR 9 by GST registered persons.
During the second technical session, CA. Navya Malhotra made a presentation on conduct of GST Audit which needs to be furnished by the auditors in form GSTR 9C. Both the speakers also addressed the various queries raised by the members on the subject matter.
CA Shalay Razdan , Chairman of the branch welcomed & introduced the guests. He said that GST Registered persons having aggregate annual turnover of more than two crores need to furnish their annual returns & GST audit reports before 30th of June 2019 for the financial year 2017-18 & hardly any time was left for the filing of the same.
CA Nakul Saraf, Secretary of the Branch conducted the proceedings of the seminar & CA Lalit Kumar Gupta , Vice Chairman of the branch presented the formal Vote of thanks.
