| JKTOWA felicitates gold medallists | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 5: The Jammu and Kashmir Tug-Of-War Association (JKTOWA) today felicitated gold medallists, who were part of Indian teams in different weight categories.
According to press release, under the Presidentship of Hardeep Singh Anand they felicitated the Gold Medalist Gourav Kumar Dubey, Sourav Kumar Dubey, Umer Mehraj, Narinder Chib and Kiran Kumari who were the part of the Indian Teams in the different weight categories and won the Gold Medals recently in the Third Gold Cup International Tug-Of-War Championship held at Kathmandu, Nepal from 30th -31st May 2019.
While Gourav Kumar Dubey, Sourav Kumar Dubey, Umer Mehraj, Narinder Chib won Gold in 640 Kg event and Kiran Kumari was part of the team winning Gold in 560 Kg Mix final. The team has already won two times gold in the Gold cup in the Tug-of-War Championship. Now it is for the third time that our team won Third Gold Cup International Tug-Of-War Championship held at Kathmandu, Nepal from 30th -31st May 2019.
Prominent among others were present S. Jodh Singh Isher, General Secretary J&K Tug-Of-War Association, Jasbir Singh Vice President, S. Jatinder Pal Singh Joint Secretary, Dr. Vinod Shastri and Ravinder Singh were also present on the occasion. |
