Work on feasibility of Dool-Hasti project phase 2 to begin shortly : GM CVPPL

Kishtwar June 14: In a major leap to power generation and to carter growing unemployment in Kishtwar District, the Work on feasibility of Dool-Hasti project phase 2 to begin shortly followed by the DPR .
Speaking at 9th Raising Day function of CVPPL, General Manager Pakal-Dool HEP Shabir Ahmed Zarger said that since the work on 1000 MW Pakkal-Dool project is already underway, the work on feasibility report of Dool Hasti phase 2 will now be started since the project is in chain to Pakal-Dool HEP. He said that CVPPL will spent Crores of rupees on various programs including under Social Corporate sector beside had already spent more than 10 crore for the construction of bridge at Banderkoot and alternative road link to bypass deadly Gangaia Dud area which is a fatal part of the Kishtwar-Sinthan-Khanbal National Highway.
DC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana who along with Ex MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori were among the Special invitees discuss various developmental activities that will be carried out in Kishtwar town.
DC Kishtwar inform the gathering that one Crore will be spent on developing of park inside Kishtwar Degree College, Rs. 50 lakhs for developing of community hall inside HSS Boys Kishtwar, beside to overcome the water scarcity problem, additional 6 Inch Dia water lifting scheme from HRT Kishtwar will be installed that will supply water to Kishtwar town and its adjoining areas.
A colourful cultural program followed by lighting of lamps and dinner.
Among prominent who attended the CVPPL raising day include G M Saroori, Brigadier 9 Sector RR Kishtwar Vikram Bhan, GM Dool-Hasti HEP Yoginder Kotha, GM Kiru Verinder Salman, GM Kwar D P Manhas, Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo, Raj Kumar Badyal, Imtiyaz Zarger, Mohammad Aslam Dev, employees of CVPPL and media persons.
