| Body of Youth retrieved from river Chenab after 24 hours | | |  Asif Iqbal Naik

Kishtwar, June 20: The Volunteers of local NGO Ababeel along with the rescuer group from adjoining Doda District today retrieved the dead body of 22 year old Manmeet Kumar son of Yog Raj Resident of Palmar Kishtwar after 24 hours of deardevil search operation risking their own lives.
The deceased falls into might river Chenab while taking selfie.
As per the details available with Early Times, after calling of the search operation late last night, Kishtwar Police along with army, local volunteers from NGO Ababeel and team of expert divers from Doda resume the search operation early Thursday morning and achieve the success in recovering the dead body of the youth at around 11.30 am giving much respite to the local Administration and the family members who were eagerly waiting for the recovery of the dead body of his beloved son so that they could perform last rituals of him as per the religious belief.
After recovering the dead body, it was shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar for autopsy.
Following the autopsy and completion of all the legal formalities, Kishtwar police handed over the dead body to the family members for last rites. |
