Jammu, June 21: Editor, Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Friday asked people not to get carried away by the guest appearance of the political leaders.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish said, "Seasonal leaders have started to appear again as they know that they have not lived upto your expectations. Don't get carried away by the slogans and the assurances being given by them. Just recollect their past performances and then decide."
"The change is knocking at our door and we have to grab the opportunity to build the new Jammu," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
"I have come to you people to seek your support. I know that alone I cannot bring any change. If my people support me then only the things will change. I am one among you, who is striving for a change," said Munish.
He said, "The ball is in your court and you have to take a final decision. I know I am not the only one who wants things to change all of us want it to happen and the forthcoming Assembly elections are a golden opportunity for us to change our destiny. |
