| DC Poonch conducts meeting on Digital India Programme | | | POONCH, July 1: District Development Commissioner, Rahul Yadav today convened a meeting to review the progress made under various sectors on 4th year of launch of Digital India Programme as Chairman of District e-Governance Society. DDC Poonch reviewed various digital initiatives in the District with DIO NIC, Lead Bank Manger for promoting digital payments and removing hurdles for the smooth operations. Threadbare discussions were held regarding the digital awareness of various government schemes . DDC directed the officers to conduct awareness camp under PMSYM scheme so that the people of remote area could take benefits of the different schemes under the digital India Programme.
The issues of Rural Development Department under digital India were also discussed with Additional District Development Commissioner and District Panchayat Officer.
Chief Agriculture officer, AD FCS &CA and District Coordinator CSC also apprised DDC of progress under Digital India.
Certificate of appreciation were also awarded to persons for their contribution in promoting digitalization in the District. |
