Early Times Report
Jammu, July 14: Amid hide and seek over encroached old Hospital building, located near Forest Office Kalakote, disowned by Health Department on the basis of report submitted by Chief Medical Officer Rajouri, the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri has sought report from Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalakote.
According to sources, taking cognizance of complaint filed by Sahild Singh Dogra, the DC Rajouri has sought report from ADC Kalakote. However, CMO Rajoiuri in its report submitted to JKGrievance Cell on 19/06/2019 indirectly admitted the encroachment.
"Sir, In reference to the subject cited above, it is submitted that as per the report of Chief Medical Officer, Rajouri vide his letter no. CMOR/Adm/2019-20/1369-71 dated 10-06-2019, the encroached land does not belong to Health Department as per revenue record as reported by the committee constituted by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalakote. Hence, submitted for your kind information and further necessary action at your end", CMO stated in his reply.
Meanwhile, when contacted the complainant, Sahil Singh Dogra, he said that he has photographs to prove that the building belongs to Health Department. "In the entrance of old hospital building one can find a name plate erected on the wall exposing the report manufactured by Revenue and Health Officials' to save the skin of encroachers", he said and added that though the DC Rajouri has ordered an enquiry, but I suggests that he should make a visit of building in questions.
"The building situated over the state land, once it was only hospital in Kalakote run by J&K Mineral limited, however, latter it was handed over to Health Department", he claimed.
He said that instead of making lame excuses that "the encroached land does not belong to Health Department as per revenue record as reported by the committee constituted by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalakote", but why committee ignore to visit the spot and click the photographs.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz could not be contacted for his comment. But it is pertinent to mention here the earlier, enquiry committee, without mentioning that the said building excited that too with some leftover to prove that building was hospital and belongs to health, gave its support to the wrong doing of Revenue Officials and the Health department.
Meanwhile, the ADC Kalakote has constituted further a committee headed by BDO Kalakote as its chairperson, while SDAO and AR Co-operative as the members of the committee. The committee has asked to submit its report within a week. Will the committee copy earlier report and visit the spot to collect the evidences?.
