Teams selected for Tug of War national championships

Jammu, July 25: The Jammu & Kashmir Tug of War Association has selected teams to participate in the 21st Sub Junior, 32nd Junior and National and 32nd Senior National Women Tug of War Championship being held from July 28 to 30 at Govardhan Stadium Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
The teams were selected by Hardeep Singh Anand - president of the Association, Jodh Singh Isher - Secretary, Jasvir Singh - Vice President, Jatinder Pal Singh Joint Secretary, J&K Tug Of War Association, under the supervision of J & K Sports Council, screening committee member comprising of Ravi Kumar - Divisional Sports Officer, Satish Gupta and Dalvir Mehta at Playfield, Shastri Nagar, Jammu.
The selected players for 21st Sub Junior Women National (weight category 360 kg) include Palak Jamwal, Nitali, Rydham Jamwal, Palvi Choudhary, Sania Kundal, Jannat Bhagat, Priya Kumari, Priti Devi, Priksha Choudhary and Siya Sharma
In the 32nd Junior Women National (weight category 460 kg) include Amrita Saini, Deepika Sharma, Deepakshi Sangra, Kamal Kumari, Mandvi, Marjam, Chahat Mahajan, SimmY Choudhary, Kashish Fatima and Tavleen Singh
In the 32nd Senior Women National (weight category 500 kg) include Vishali Sharma, Rajani Rani, Aakanksha, Vasvi Gupta, Sonia Javed, Anita Sharma, Samta Devi, Dilshad, Shruti and Sonika Thakur.
Gorav Kumar Dubey, Kiran Kumari, Pooja Devi, and Govind are accompanying as coaches and Managers of these teams.
Hardeep Singh Anand distributed kits among the players before departure which were sponsored by M/s. Trans Asia Hotels Pvt Ltd Unit Cygnett Park Asia, Jammu.
