National Akademi's unique acting workshop concludes

Jammu, July 25: Ten-day specialized acting training workshop "The need for right training" concluded here today at Natrang Studio Theatre, Jammu. The workshop was the second under the series "The Need for Right Training", which is an initiative by Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi Ministry of Culture, Government of India to reach across the nation and provide the young acting aspirants with the world class training in acting. The participants in the workshop were introduced to the latest developed methodologies of the world of learning in theatre. The participants were really enthused with the process they went through in these 10 days. Sharing the experience Manoj Kumar Lalotra said " I have been doing theatre for almost 3-4 years but I never had the occasion to do a workshop like this, where things pertinent to an actors training process were covered in so much detail. I really hope more of such workshops are organized so that we are exposed to the right kind of training process" .The youngsters who were the part of this unique workshop included Rishav Sharma, Kuldeep Angral, Aarti Devi, Abhinav Sharma, Kananpreet Kour, Meenakshi Bhagat, Mohit Sharma, Udit Sagar, Sumit Raina, Shivam Singh, Manoj Kumar Lalotra, Ajay Kumar Lalotra, Iftikar Mughal, Sushant Singh Charak, Akash Wadhwan and Adil Khan.
