| Villagers protest against PWD, PMGSY department due to worst condition road | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, July 25: Locals villagers protest against, Public Works Department (R&B), PMGSY in worst condition road of Ramnagar to Chowki, Katwalt, Kanoglu to Pachound and demanding repair and black topping the road here today.
Alleging to locals villagers of Chowki, Katwalt said that due to worst condition and big pits in 19 km road, Mini Bus and buses does not come and we cannot go to school, the students are facing manifold problems and no action by the district administration and PWD department to repaired the road and improve the road condition, locals of village Chowki, Katwalt and adjoining area also held a protest demonstration today and raised slogans against the district administration and PWD department and demanding black topping this road otherwise protest will be continued till the demands fulfilled. Another protest at Pachound in the Basantgarh Tehsil villagers Demanding repair and black topping the worst condition road Kanoglu to Pachound 10 km. Alleging to locals villagers said that pachound's inhabitants facing problem for shifting pregnant women and sick old man and woman to SDH Ramnagar, district hospital Udhampur 2007, ten kilometer road work was started from Kanoglu to Pachound, for which Rs.33.33 lakh had been sanctioned and the road was approved for five years under PMGSY but after 12 years work of Pachound, 10 kms from Kanoglu has not been completed.
, due to which people cannot even bring a sick person to the hospital many time this problem disclosed in the political leaders, senior officials of the concerned department but the road work not been completed after 12 year. |
