Heroin, 110 intoxication capsules recovered, accused held

JAMMU, July 28: Police recovered 6 grams heroin and 110 intoxication Capsules from four drug Peddlers at Rani Talab, Digiana and Maheshpura Chowk Bakshi Nagar respectively. Accused was arrested and cases stands registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and Bakshi Nagar respectively.
Police party from PP Digiana while on naka duty at Rani Talab, Digiana apprehended three persons, who were trying to evade Police in suspicious circumstances. They were identified as, Vishal Singh son of Dhanater Singh resident of Preet Nagar, Digiana, Sadan Hussain son of Ali Mohd resident of Bhadarwah and Gagan Singh son of Faqir Singh resident of Preet Nagar Digiana.
On search, 6 gm heroin like substance was recovered from their possession. Case FIR No. 200/2019 under section 8/21/22/27-A/29 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Gandhi Nagar .
In another case, Police team of Police Station Bakshi Nagar while on Naka duty at Maheshpura Chowk stopped one pedestrian for checking, who was identified as Nihal Lokatra son of Ramesh Lokatra resident of Qtr. No. 3, PNT Colony, Bakshi Nagar. On search, 110 intoxicative tablets and two capsules were recovered from his possession. Case FIR No. 129/2019 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Bakshi Nagar.Similarly, Jannipur Police claimed to have arrested a drug peddler with 10 gram Heroin from his possession. As per details, Police recovered 10 gm heroin like substance at Roop Nagar, Janipur from one drug peddler identified as Pankaj Sharma son of Balkrishan Sharma resident of Lakar Mandi, Janipu. The accused has been arrested and case FIR No. 86/2019 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Janipur.
