Stop harassment: Private Schools Parents Association to School managements
7/28/2019 11:35:14 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, July 28: The parents association President Amit Kapoor in a press briefing at Jammu Club today expressed concern on the nonstop harassment of school-going children by the few school Principals and staff.
In his appeal in strongest words, he cautioned those schools who are pressurizing and forcing the students illegally to deposit exorbitant Fee without approval from the J&K Fee Fixation Committee. He said that the Association would never hesitate in exposing all such schools, those are not adhering to the Orders passed by the Fee Fixation Committee and the Director School Education on the Fee Fixations. He expressed shock on the working of the Director School Education and the Fee Fixation Committee, which are following double standards in getting its own orders implemented and allowing selected private schools for an exorbitant fee structure.
This hot and burning issue which the Govt. agencies and departments are expected to settle immediately, is left to the parents to agitate and settled themselves, which reflects the non-seriousness of the concerned J&K Govt. departments.
The Association appealed to the Governor of J&K and his advisor Farooq Ahmed Khan to look into the grievances of the parents with strict directions to the concerned functionaries of the state to check the lawbreakers in the Private schools for action against them under the law in force.
