JAMMU, July 30: Mount Litera Zee School, Anand Nagar, Bohri, Jammu and its junior wing "KIDZEE" celebrated "International Tiger Day" in the school Premises with religious fervour and enthusiasm in the presence of Chairman Er. Parneesh Mahajan, Liaison Officer Harvinder Singh Sihotra, Principal Manikarnika Bhasin, Coordinator Radhika Mahajan, staff and students.
The function started with special assembly where the teachers gave demonstrations regarding the occasion in which students and staff delivered speech.
Slogan writing and poster making competition was conducted for the Students of grades III, IV and V. A corner was also decorated related to theme for making the children aware about this day.
Manikarnika Bhasin ,Principal of the school briefed the students about the importance of this special day and she also explained that like other animals, tigers too play a important role in maintaining the balance of our ecosystem. |
