KPs caution community against touts, say no return plan finalized by Govt yet

JAMMU, July 30: Kashmiri Pandits have cautioned the community against touts asking the community members to fill up forms for their return and rehabilitation in Valley.
Taking serious view if such self styled community activists various KP organisations asked community members to refrain from filling up any form in this regard. They also warned the community against such cheats who also lure the displaced youth promising them Government job after their return to Valley.
There is no such proposal with Government on return and some touts have started distributing forms charging money for the same to exploit the displaced people, said Makhan Lal a socio political activist.
He said when there is no move from Government how these touts are distributing forms for return and promising jobs to youth.
Lal said previously these touts also ammassed huge money on the name of employment to displaced youth and now the same practice is being repeated again.
The most if community youth who last time quit their jobs Ain private sector had to turn frustrate after not getting the Government job as was promised by the touts, said Rakesh Kumar a camp inmate.
The youth should not fall in their trap and quit the private sector jobs as this way they will be put to many hardships, he added.
He said if 6000 PM package posts have not been filled up in last 11 years how can the people expect a good deal from it in future.
Rakesh said moreover situation is not conducive for rehabilitation of displaced Pandits in Valley and militancy is down in Valley but not out so the displaced people should tread cautiously, said Desh Rattan chairman All Migrant Camp Coordination Committee.
He said no return fomulla will be acceptable to the community which fails to take it's geo_political aspirations into consideration.
