BJP leader urges PM to conserve 'Dogra Riasat, Virasat'

JAMMU, Aug 10: BJP leader and National Vice President of National Institute of Public Cooperation & Child Development Dr Kudeep Sharma urged the Prime Minister of India Narender Modi to conserve the 'Dogra Riasat' and 'Dogra Virasat' as it is the old age tradition of Jammu and Kashmir state.
While addressing the series of public meetings in Akhnoor block, Dr Sharma said that abrogation of article 370 and 35 A is a process of Indian constitution and everything has been done as per the constitution. He further said that 370 was a temporary article and it was invoked for time being till its utility but now the utility of the said article has been over and there was no need to continue it. He also pooh-poohed the Kashmiri centric leaders who have ever misused the article 370 for their vested interest and warranted for its abrogation.
Urging the Government of India especially Prime Minister of India, Narender Modi to invoke a process to have a 'Domicile Certificate' on the analogy of Himachal Pradesh and with a subject that a person or family can get the domicile certificate after residing minimum period of 20 years in the state that too with a record of good character and nationalism. He further added that the credentials of the person and family should be kept under vigil for minimum 20 years.
He said that request for granting citizenship to a new persons the government after noticing his/her credentials for a period of 20 years and after getting a character certificate for police department then consider his/her request with a condition to be nationalist and socialist for entire life. He said that citizenship of new entraints person or persons or family can be cancelled in case they are involved in any sort of crime or anti-social or anti-national activities. He also said that the people from other state can be granted citizenship but should not be allowed to contest any-kind of election in the state. Mentioning about the rich and peace loving tradition of the Duggar Pradesh Jammu, he urged the Prime Minister to take firm initiative to protect the 'Dogra Riasat' and 'Dogra Virasat' so that the identity of Dogras can be maintained. He said that people of Jammu are very loving, peace-loving, accomodative and secular but thier identity should be saved with top priority.
