Justice Bindal visits DAV Collegiate School Kathua

KATHUA, Aug 10: Justice Rajesh Bindal of J&K High Court today visited DAV Collegiate School Kathua.
Akram Chowdhary, Member Secretary J&K State Legal Services Authority, Pawan Kotwal , Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Arti Mohan, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Prem Nath Chief Education Officer, Kathua, District Magistrate Kathua (Traffic), Santosh Mahajan Director DAV Educational Charitable Trust, Kathua also visited the school.
The programme began with the addressing note and welcome speech by Pooja Gupta on behalf of the School followed by Arti Mohan, Secretary District Legal Services Authority. She briefed the students about the POCSO, sexual abuse and drug addiction. She told the students about the various offences under POCSO and various suggestive measures to be adopted under this act.
On the occasion, Justice Rajesh Bindal interacted with the students and gave various valuable messages to them on different topics like conservation of natural resources.
The programme was followed by plantation drive where numerous saplings were planted by all dignitaries and students, which were further ended with pledge of students to adopt a plant tree.
