| KPs perform Hawan at Vessu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 9: Kashmiri Pandit employees putting up in KP colony performed a grand Hawan at Sharda mata temple ,Sharda Dham Vessu in Anantnag district of south Kashmir the other day.
All the employees along with their families participated in the Hawan.The Hawan started on August 7 and culminated after puran aahoti on August 8 (Shrawan shuklapksh ashtami)followed by a bhandara in which food was served to devotees as Prasad.
Organisers said that religious mantras were recited by the pujaris and the event was marked as varshik yagna of mata Sharda
The idol of Sharda mata was installed on this day last year.The local residents provided them vegetables and flowers, they added. |
