| Cong condemns 'sexist' remarks of Haryana CM | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 10: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has strongly condemned the sexist remarks of Haryana Chief Minister and senior BJP Leader Manohar Lal Khatar apart from another MLA of BJP from Vikram Saini and termed it as insult to the daughters of the state.
Chief Spokesperson JKPCC Ravinder Sharma while reacting strongly to the sexist and insensitive remarks of BJP leaders at the level of Chief Minister and MLA regarding the daughters of the state is highly condemnable, unfortunate and it speaks the mind set of BJP leaders towards the women, especially daughters of the state. He sought immediate apology from the Harayana Chief Minister and the BJP MLA to the daughters of the state as they have insulted the women folk.
Manohar Lal Khattar has been heard advising people to bring brides from J&K while Vikram Saini asked them to marry "Gorri Gorri, Chitti, Chitti" Kashmiri girls after abrogation of Article 370. |
