Jammu, Aug 26: A deputation of Kashmiri Migrants led by its Chairman/ President Er. Romesh Chander Mahajan and called on Relief Commissioner (Migrants ) Canal road Jammu and apprised him of various problems being faced by Kashmiri migrants and The deputation submitted charter of demands to immediate issuance process of EPIC (Electroal Photo Identity Card) to eligible voters at Migrants Election office of Shanker Building Jammu and at all Zonal camps offices of Jammu , Delhi and other states of country to cast their franchise with proper details and to avoid mistake in upcoming election and to ensured maximum/100% participation of migrants in the election to elect their MLAs in State level (Assembly). Appealed that After the mass exodus of 1989-1990 the Relief deptt has called upon Form of Movable/Immovable properties details from every registered migrants for assessment but all is vain all our assets and properties in Kashmir valley have vanished resultant hopes of two ancestor generation of migrants expired and there is nothing know about the property and as per properties details ( 1990)of Koul committee sources report is incomplete. Appealed to consolidate the actual position of properties left behind in valley due to effects of migration from 30 years of exile and start the process of compile of all data/ documents of Movable/Immovable properties details from Migrants through website of relief deptt and keep these detailed records with custody of relief deptt for future use of various action and also will provide benefit to our next generation for genuine claims loss so that all assets , and properties , kanals of Lands, Agricultural lands , Orchards, one to four Storied Houses , kanals of Kitchen Gardens, Shops, Factories , SSI units, Cowshed, Kothar, other sheds, Temples and Cremation Grounds lands of kashmiri migrant in valley. |
