As per the details available with "Early Times" a group of Sarpanches and Ex Sarpanches from Bhunzwah today called on Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar in his office chamber and inform him about the plight and sufferings of the local people of remote Bhunzwah area in absence of non availability of mobile or landline connectivity added the area having population of over 25000 had non landline.
The group of public representatives while sharing their point of view informs that even after more than 70 years of independence is lacking far behind added that they are hoping the "Ache Din" of Modi Government will reach to them-as the area is still lacking far behind in terms of development with no proper roads, schools lacking infrastructure, doctors not available in health centers.
They said that they are telling the people that nothing has left for them in Article 370 and 35 A as there area continuously being ignored and said that decision could have made an impact on rich people and not on the poor people and urged upon the administration to at least make the mobile numbers of Sarpanches and Panches of the Bhunzwah so that people could establish the contact with people working outside the J&K and in its different parts including Ladakh.
Speaking to "Early Times" Sarpanch Khalid Hussain said that people are peaceful in Bhunzwah area following the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A as no protest has been reported from the area and peace continue to prevail in the area following the government decision.
He said that though people did not held any protest over the issue of Article 370 & 35 A, but continues unnecessary communication blockade could force the people to choose the agitating path & urged the government and the administration to restore the mobile connectivity at an earliest.
