Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 26: Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti's daughter, who was putting up at their Fairview Residency here after the arrest of her mother, is understood to have left the valley.
Sources said after making numerous appeals to let her meet up her mother, the daughter has left for New Delhi from where she is likely to fly to a South Indian metropolitan city to get in touch with her aunt Rubiya Syed who lived there.
Mehbooba's daughter is believed to have left the valley at the time when central team have opened communication channel with People's Democratic Party President and her counterpart of National Conference Omar Abdullah.
While staying at Fairview residence, Mehbooba's daughter had managed to send an audio message to media channels and had also shot a signed letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah seeking his intervention on the detention of her family head. The young woman had earned appreciation from quarters for the content of massage to government of India.
It pertinent to mention here that apart from Mehbooba, some of her party colleague including Mohd Ashraf Mir and Wahid Para, as per the sources, is also under detentions. While Mehbooda has been separately detained at VIP hut in Chashmashahi, her party colleagues are detained at Centaur Hotel on the banks of Dal Lake.
The party's colleagues however have not been able to get in touch with each other as each of them have been detained separately. Sources have been saying that mainstream leaders, were likely to be released in coming days as the central teams are in touch with Omar, Mehbooba, Farooq Abdullah and they are likely to strike "peace deal" that will help in speedy restoration of normalcy in the valley. Despite repeated attempts the Mehbooba's daughter couldn't be contacted for comments.
