Blaze Badminton tourney witnesses exciting matches

JAMMU, Sep 24: Blaze Inter Collegiate Badminton (Men & Women) Tourney of CLUJ organized by the Department of Students Welfare witnessed exciting matches at Govt MAM College, Jammu. Dr Geetanjali A Rana, Dean Arts was the chief guest while Prof P.K. Sharma, Principal, MAM College was the guest of honour.
In men's section, first match was played between Govt SPMR College of Commerce and Govt College of Education in which SPMR College of Commerce beat Govt College of Education by 3-1 while the 2nd match was played between Govt MAM College, Jammu and GGM Science College, Jammu in which MAM College beat GGM Science College by 3-1.
In women section, the first match was played between Govt. College of Education and Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu in which College of Education beat Commerce College by 2-0 and in 2nd match GCW Gandhi Nagar College beat GGM Science College by 2-0 .
Tomorrow the final match will be played between MAM College and Commerce College in Men Sections and in women section GCW Gandhi Nagar and Govt College of Education will fight to lift the trophy.
Dr Twinkle Suri, Dean Students Welfare, CLUJ, Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator, Dr Anil Ganjoo, DIQA, Dr Banpreet Kour, Associate Dean Students Welfare, Sunesh Sharma, Physical Director, Govt MAM College, Jammu Aijaz Malik, Physical Director, Govt SPMR College of Commerce, Dr Mandeep Singh, Physical Director, Govt College of Education and others were present.
