Interactive Session on Entrepreneurial Skills Organised

Jammu, Sept 27: Prof. Hardeep Chahal, Rector Udhampur Campus, University of Jammu had organised an interactive session on entrepreneurial skills for the students of MA Economics and M.Com on Friday. Raghubir Gandotra,Chairman ISYF NGO and Proprietor M/S Shivam Motor ASC Udhampur Mahindra and Mahindra Truck and Buses Division and Ravinder Singh, an industrialist running National Packaging industry were invited for the interactive session. In the first lecture, Raghubir had explained about live examples of other people from local area who were motivated to become entrepreneur and running their units well.
Honesty, dedication as well as experience are important for success as an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is full of risks and one must not worried about upturns and downturns in business as they are just phases. There are various schemes for women as well as subsidy for local entrepreneurs. It is very important to provide quality product and services to the customer and quality will help to survive in long-run.
In next session, Ravindra Singh addresses students regarding their struggle to become an entrepreneur. He had given focus on health and happiness to become successful entrepreneur. Live examples of various entrepreneurs at national and international level were quoted to motivate students. Faculty members of commerce and economics department Dr. Neetu Kumari, Taruna Dubey, Mamta Sharma, Vinod Kumar Sharma, Dr. Kamini Dutta, Dr. Shilpa Gupta, Dr. Ritika Sambyal, Dr. Ajay Salgotra, Nikhil Khajuria were present on the occasion.
