Jammu deserves better deal: Munish tells people
9/27/2019 10:06:24 PM
Early Times Report
jammu, Sept 27: Editor, Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Friday said that people of Jammu deserve a better deal.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in Bhour Camp, Munish said, "It is unfortunate that people of Jammu have faced discrimination during the past seven decades. Even the leaders, whom we voted for during the past seventy years couldn't do much for the people."
Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency, said, "Now the time has changed, we have to strive for our better future and make Jammu one of the top-notch cities in the country."
Munish said, "The next assembly elections which will be fought in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir will have only one issue i.e. development."
He said that people need to sit back and think before exercising their franchise in the next assembly elections. "Do the leaders, whom we have been voting for during all these years, deserve to represent us?" Munish asked.
He urged people not to get carried away by the slogans and make a beginning towards changing the destiny of Jammu by voting for the candidates, who really want to serve the people
"Getting a better deal is in our hands," he added.
