DIG U-R Range visits Reasi, reviews law & order situation

REASI, Sept 27: DIG Udhampur-Reasi (U-R) Range today visited District Police Headquarters Reasi and reviewed law and order, crime and security scenario prevailing in the district.
On his arrival, the DIG Sujit Kumar was given ceremonial guard of honour at the lawns of DPO Reasi.
DIG Sujit Kumar held a detailed meeting and gave necessary directions and guidelines to the officers present for the speedy and effective disposal of crime related cases. The DIG directed the officials to work keenly on NDPS cases, theft, inquest proceedings etc for better results. The DIG also took stock of security and law and order situations and gave necessary directions on spot.
Earlier, Rashmi Wazir, SSP Reasi gave detailed account of crime, law and order scenario of district Reasi.
The meeting was attended by Shiv Kumar Chouhan, Addl SP Reasi, Vivek Shekar SDPO Katra, Kameshwar Puri SO to DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Mumtaz Ali Bhatti DySP DAR Reasi, Waseem Mehmood DySP Hqrs Reasi, Satish Bhardwaj SDPO Arnas, Zakir Shaheen Mirza SDPO Mahore besides SHOs of all the Police Stations of district Reasi.
