| Police public meet held at Bahu Fort | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 27: Police-public meeting was organized by resident of Bahu Fort in which large number of people apprised the officials about their problems. The meeting was chaired by SP South Vinay Sharma, SDPO East Rajinder Singh Rahi, SHO Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu Sunil Sharma. Prominent citizen including BJP State Vice President Rajeev Charak, Corporator ward number 47 Sharda Devi and ward number 48 Sham Lal among other were presented. Speaking on the occasion, Charak raised the demands of local population including unauthorized parking along the roads side, water and electricity problem and drug menace in the society. The main aim of the meeting was interact with the people of the area and representative of civil departments and sought their cooperation in maintaining peace and public orders, which participants assured full cooperation. The issues pertaining to police as well as civil administration were raised by the participants. Charak said that in navratars large number of people visit Bahu Fort for darshans of Bawe Wali Mata but many time people with special needs have to suffer due to non availability of public transport. |
